India, originally from Baltimore, MD, moved to Seattle two years ago and quickly recognized the lack of Caribbean representation in the area. Driven by her friends' desire for more access to the rich food and culture she grew up with, India was inspired to act. With two years of catering experience across Seattle and a lifetime of cooking under her belt, she launched Mango Bay Catering in 2024. Her business, guided by the tagline "Where Flavor Meets Tradition," merges the traditional flavors of her Jamaican and Southern roots, offering Seattle a unique and delightful culinary experience that brings a taste of her “charming” home to the PNW.
